There are glamorous nurses. I'm not one of them. No matter what, after the first hour in the #ER my hair gets crazy. It is competing with the bruise from my #N95 #mask.

I have easily seeen the sickest patients of my career during these times and none of them had COVID. One patient died from basic asthma avoiding help. nbcwashington.com/news/local/dc-…

Working on getting Checked In in front of the right people. I know it will help spread patients evenly over all the hospitals and help 1) get patients seen faster 2) alleviate pressure from the big hospitals. It's free by the way, I'm not profiteering on #covid19. #ER #RN

Many politicians include improving #accesstohealthcare but what does that even mean? Is access really just about #healthinsurance? I have lots of patients who came to the ER because they couldn't get an appointment with a doctor. What does access to healthcare mean to you?

Medical Group Management Association found “Patients value transparency” and suggest office managers survey and update patients on the wait time. Why not publish automated Wait times in real time in the first place so managers can focus on management? Checkedin.tech

From a nursing perspective value based care is the most difficult to improve. Patients eat right and participate in PT (exercise) but as soon as they are discharged they return to their old lifestyle that forms most chronic diseases (heart disease, diabet…lnkd.in/eaw4axc
