Never discredit light exercise. Many people are intimidated by “working out”. But “something” is always better than nothing. Go take a light walk. Do simple yoga exercises or just stretch. Just do some type of activity for your body. Keep it simple. Start today.

Don’t drink all your calories. Save calories by drinking water, various teas or black coffee. Skip the whipped cream and sugar in your coffee, give up soda🥤 and juices with lots of high fructose corn syrup. Save the calories for eating REAL food.

Fitness Tip of The Day Try this for cardio: Interval train twice per week. Instead of going at a steady pace for 30 mins, go easy for 3 minutes and hard for 1 minute. Repeat this pattern 5-6 times and you have a new workout and a calorie burning machine.

Select healthi(er)choices to have on standby. Keep healthy snacks in your car, like trail mix or banana chips. In your fridge when hunger or emotional eating strikes, opt for fruits such as a watermelon, strawberries or blueberries. Or even a piece of dark chocolate 🍫

If you hate eating healthy or exercise, or have a challenge with getting it on your schedule, make incremental changes each week. Aim for one 20 minute workout/ week. Try healthy eating one day/ week. Slowly adding more workout & healthy eating days. one small step at a time.

Take one day a week for active recovery. It’s your day of rest from intense workouts, but you still move. Take a walk. Do a gentle yoga class. Just do something that’s less intense than what you do for exercise the other six days of the week. #Getfitwithkb
