I admire my parents most for successfully raising three boys close in age. They came home from work to find the carpets pulled up with all the furniture under them. Basically, they dealt with daily global warfare and somehow we all came out okay. #tabletopics

Speaker and his wife loved their backyard: parties and cookouts, naps in a hammock. Then children came and so did the playscape. “When our children look back, may they know that every board and every nail was put with the best of intentions and the deepest of love.”

Learning about a Supreme Court decision over a 100 years ago. They argued over whether or not a tomato was a fruit or a vegetable. Ruled it a was a vegetable. It’s a fruit. The government has been doing things that are kind of dumb for a very long time. #morningpeople
