Did you know you can use photoshop-like features directly from your browser? That too with ❤️ from open-source? Today we're showcasing an awesome GitHub repo called "photopea". Link in tweet attached 🔗. Tell us if you already knew about it.☺️
@GithubProjects Been using Photopea for years, super useful online photo editing app on browser. It has all the essentials of photo editing. I use it with Blender and Photoroom.
@GithubProjects I like more pixlr.com Its also free, but UI and functionality are richer)
@GithubProjects I use it often, its almost like working with photoshop but with a few differences, there are also similar online software like light room as well ;) photoeditor.polarr.co
@GithubProjects So I came up with an Hoax Picture Manipulation idea as my Entry for a challenge. A Rare Nature Visit to acknowledge the greatness of God himself. Nature favors all irrespective of religion. God is Great!!! ABUJA CENTRAL MOSQUE 😍 😍 😍 😍
@GithubProjects Well right from GitHub. 🤗
@GithubProjects From a legal standpoint, making this look VERY similar to Photoshop could lead them to some legal issues. Especially since it's not completely open-source and is a paid subscription service. @photopeacom
@GithubProjects I've used it. I must say, this app is on another level of brillance. I didn't know its an #OpenSource project.
@GithubProjects As an Ubuntu user, I cannot have the advantage of working with Adobe Photoshop. So, I always prefer to use photopea.com for some of my work.
@GithubProjects Love this app. It’s not open source though. They maintain a GitHub repo for bug reporting, feature requests etc
@GithubProjects Yes, I'm using photopea from last two years. 🙋🏻♂️
@GithubProjects Was using Gimp till I came across photopea. Being web based is one of the major advantage of photopea.
@GithubProjects I know about it Don't exactly know how to use it RIP
@GithubProjects It always comes in handy😌 but I'm currently struggling to save images in high quality. There's no option of PNG-24 and quality to choose from.
@GithubProjects I use this regularly. Awesome piece of software. And it's online so no things like installing, waiting for it to open up
@GithubProjects It's Nice , Thanks It will so helpful for me further
@GithubProjects Cool app, but very misleading tweet. Seems someone was a bit excited to label a repo for issues as #opensource
@GithubProjects Yes, I use it, I've been using it for years. It's like photoshop 2. Now with some improvemements
@GithubProjects been using it since 2 yrs ago. lightweight editing software when you are in a hurry to edit simple psd projects.
@GithubProjects @rogueyoshi_FGC been using it for a while now
@GithubProjects Amazing. I didn't know
