Are new coding languages a thing of the past? With ai coding it would be a huge disadvantage to start a new one as the models will have no pre-training data

While fascinating, the idea of AI generating every UI on the fly is probably less likely than people think. The benefits of hyper customization likely won’t outweigh having to re-learn an app each time you use it or the risks of things breaking in unexpected ways.

This is exactly why car ownership will continue in a robot car world. There will be times when you need a car and the supply demand imbalance will make it worth owning one. Late summer weekends, rush hour, holiday weekends etc

People using AI all the time to write code will learn through experience. You don’t need to hand write code and won’t ever do it again. Instead the skill will be editing ai code. Learning curve is faster if editing vibe code then hand coding
