Freelancing as a web developer is more than just writing clean code and delivering projects. It’s about building lasting relationships and earning clients. Something different from your typical coding Job, and it took me a long time to understand this. In my short experience of working with small businesses, they rarely care about the tools you use or how you build the solutions. What matters most is delivering results, assuring them those results will come, and being there when they need your support. I’ve learned that freelancing is about owning your work like it’s your business because it is. Treat every project like you’re part of the client’s team, not just a hired hand.
