Free speech must be protected on public college campuses. Also, violation of the law is violation of the law. These are illegal protests that are designed to intimidate, obstruct, and harass Jewish students in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. As everyone knows, if these protests were harassing black students and calling for their extermination, they wouldn't last one second on campus.
Don't like Title VI of the Civil Rights Act? Think it's over-restrictive? Fine. I likely even agree! But I noticed that those who are suddenly standing up for the pro-Hamas students are nowhere to be found when the shoe is on the other foot. They use Title VI as a weapon against their enemies and then scream about it with regard to their pro-terrorist friends. The only free speech they want is the free speech of the pro-Hamas intersectional crowd.
Also, Columbia, Harvard, and many of these other universities are private universities that would never tolerate, say, anti-black demonstrations. Hell, I've been banned from private universities like DePaul. That's wrong, but they have the legal right to do so. Meanwhile, they're fostering pro-terrorist and anti-Semitic protests because muh intersectionality.
@benshapiro Who’s going to tell Ben that black isn’t a country committing genocide? 😬
@ixxiguy @benshapiro The Rwandan genocide, also known as the genocide against the Tutsi, occurred between 7 April and 19 July 1994 during the Rwandan Civil War.
@SandraCravens5 @ixxiguy @benshapiro And if the students were calling for the USA to not fund the Rwandan genocide, and asks Columbia University to remove all investment in Rwanda, would that be anti-black? Of course not. Whataboutism. False argument on Ben's part. It's the argument he'll use with Candace.
