@NHSTeesValley Integration should be at community level closer to the population and not at the Trust. Despite primary care providers highlighting the downside of this it seems it falls into deaf ears. No wonder NHS is failing is because we don’t learn from pst mistakes.
@NHSTeesValley This has been piloted twice before and was a completely failure and am not sure why the trust and commissioners continue to push this agenda again and again despite it’s multiple failures when it comes to patient care and staff satisfaction.

We agree with this sentiment entirely. It can seem hard to persuade our patients to stop or reduce medication sometimes but we need to take stock occasionally and ask the question. Is this doing me any good? Might a lifestyle change work better with no side effects?! 🤷💊

People should ask their doctor regularly if they really need their meds and what are the risks of stopping... or in some cases..the risks of continuing?
