AQA A-Level maths examiners? I was tutoring; solved this question the way my Edexcel textbook says (work out the probability the mean X being xbar); compare to the sig level, conclusion. AQA 2018 p 3 says to work out z values! My way not on MS. Is my way acceptable with AQA?

@GrumpyMathTeach Yes that’s a perfectly acceptable way of doing it, also critical region method. More recent mark schemes are much more detailed in showing the other methods
