The EWS1 form is not fit for purpose RICS say they are revising the form but haven't said in what way Lenders are adopting unreasonably inflexible approaches to lending on flats Some flats have been given a nil valuation by fearful surveyors #EnoughIsEnough #claddingscandal

One aspect of #EWS1 rarely mentioned is Note 11 which states max life of the certificate is 5 years and that it may need to be reassessed if changes are carried out to the wall system (how would a lending bank know especially if the EWS report is not provided?) #BuildingSafety
