This space at the Grand Hyatt Kauai gives me hard Disneyland Tomorrowland pre-1998 vibes. From a nostalgia perspective it works, otherwise super dated for the caliber of the hotel.
The Grand Club at Grand Hyatt Kauai is in what used to be the Northern Italian restaurant Donderos. It needs a hard re-theme.
Mucho Aloha has a mai tai that I might dare say is better than Monkey Pods.
Break + Feast in Koloa is easily the best food I’ve had in Kauai! They have a great happy hour from 3-5.
What’s actually interesting is that clearly people aren’t reading the article. Universals numbers are underreported due to the services they use. But sure, they are somehow doing better to accommodate the heat even though they aren’t.
Hyatt Club Lounges in the US are so weird. They even call it an Honor Bar seemingly knowing that basically nobody fills out the form to pay for it. Why not just have it be actually complimentary like the rest of their properties worldwide ?
The drinks aren’t cheap, but they are strong!
Happy 46th birthday to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Working this attraction were some of the best times I ever had. I was the in the last crew to wear the original costume and the first crew to wear version 2. This photo is version 2.
All of the pools at the Grand Hyatt Kauai are open 24 hours. It’s amazing but also a little eerie as it’s not nearly as well lit as this photo makes it look.
