@ArloStuff I think Masahiro Sakurai stated in a YouTube video on his channel that while 60 FPS is preferred, most developers consider 30 FPS to be acceptable as well. I'm with that mentality. Yes, I'd prefer 60 FPS, but a 30 FPS framerate doesn't make a game completely unplayable garbage.

My take on the TTYD Remake's frame rate: Simply does not matter for the overworld. For battles tho, it's definitely gonna feel different. But the original TTYD isn't fast-paced enough for a stable 30FPS to cause issues. My proof: ...the OG Paper Mario is 30fps. WE'LL LIVE.

I honestly do not give a single shit that TTYD runs at 30fps.
Everyone has the right to buy & avoid any product no matter the reason. It’s very just to critique TTYD’s 30fps compared to the OG’s 60 but imo avoiding it bc of that says more about the person’s pettiness. We need all hands on deck. This game’s sales likely direct PM’s future.
