Plus, you could request someone on deviantArt or Tumblr to help you draw your OC. But the avatar creator is the best start.
If you can't draw, avatar makers are amazing tools for the creation of your OC's appearance.
No secret hidden master of all the Dragon Balls. No destined king/queen of the demons and/or reapers. No long lost relatives of canon muses.
Don't make your OC special and "better" than the canon characters. A good OC is equal to their verse.
If your OC is in a verse that has mythical beasts, /still/ don't make them rule over all mythical beasts.
If your OC is for a verse that has no mythical beasts, don't make your OC the queen/king of mythical beasts.
You can make your OC special in your verse. Go right ahead. But don't make your OC the master of something that is just asinine.
Baby name websites offer a good selection of first names. Good luck with that last name, though.

Many OC's have that cool name you wanted to call your OC. You shouldn't let that stop you from naming your OC what you want to, but just--
Creating a name for your OC is always extremely tricky if you lack the proper creativity to come up with names.
3+ OC's crammed into 1 twitter account can get confusing and it's just so inefficient.
If you can, try to make 1 twitter account per OC. The acceptable maximum is 2 OC's per 1 account if you are capable of making more accounts
Extremely depressed/suicidal is not a valid flaw or quirk.
When you make an OC, be sure to include flaws and quirks. But don't overdo it.
Nobody is perfect. Don't try to make your OC perfect. Perfection doesn't exist.
Demon succubus futa neko bat dragon vampire immortal psychic invincible furries are definitely a DON'T.
If you make your OC a big and important character to the canon story in some asinine and convoluted way, you are doing a big DON'T.
