Just watched #WarOfTheWorlds. I thought it was a series at first. It's got pace. And decent effects. And i like the use of tech to frame it. But it doesn't quite work. Maybe because I use MS Teams all day it reminded me of work. Not awful, not great.

Properly enjoyed #Ballard. Enough ties to keep #Bosch fans happy, but it stands on its own nicely. Maggie Q on good form, great support and a classic Bosch plot.

Finally watched The World's End, the final film in the Three Flavours trilogy. First half was a struggle. Then it got going. Didn't work as well as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz for me, but ace cast especially if you're a fan of Rosamund Pike.
