中国空军下一阶段应该会朝着全隐身化的方向发展,各种双三角翼和传统飞翼布局战机将涵盖中、中远、远距三大范围;包括1-2千公里作战半径的飞翼布局的舰载侦察机,加油机,反潜机;2-3千公里作战半径的双三角翼布局的战斗机,战术轰炸机,电子战机;3-6千公里作战半径的传统飞翼布局的轰炸机,高探测能力的指挥机
中国的隐身设计的战机绝不仅限于战斗机、轰炸机、无人僚机、侦察机，在未来，执行对地打击任务的隐身战术轰炸机，远程加油机、侦察机、指挥机等机型都有可能会采用隐身化的高升力的飞翼布局设计来实现穿透式的远距离作战任务
鉴于中国的航空工业的气动设计、制造工艺、飞控技术、电子、信息系统、隐身技术的蓬勃发展和未来更高指标的作战需求指引,中国空军未来的许多机型都可能朝着隐身化、飞翼布局的方向发展，更大的、航程更远的内置弹舱的战术轰炸机将取代传统的歼击轰炸机,远程的飞翼布局的隐身加油机将完成前线加油任务
相比于能洲际飞行至美国本土的放大版B2,我认为中国更需要一款介于B2与B21的远程隐身飞翼布局的轰炸机,其武器载荷在15-20吨,4台发动机使其具备跨音速飞行能力,无需空中加油,在满弹满油的情况下作战半径达到3000-5000公里,弹舱尺寸足够携带惊雷空射导弹,可在其平台上发展出加油机、远程作战指挥机等机型
隐身化、无人化是未来空军装备的趋势，未来的J16类型的对地攻击战机也将顺应该趋势，为了满足大的武器载荷需求，很有可能会采用高升力的翼身融合的飞翼布局设计，除此之外，大大小小的隐身飞翼布局飞行器也将作为侦察机、加油机、反潜机的平台，除运输机、特种机型外，中国空军在未来将全面隐身飞翼化
