But even if you only get state charges, $8,000 is enough stolen for a felony charge since it's over the ~$400 threshold. At any rate, you're looking at prison time if convicted. That means going away for a few years.

During that instance, they pull up your name to see what info there is on you, & those warrants pop up in the NCIC. That means extradition to the states of issuance to stand trial for fraud. Wire fraud, like I said, is a federal crime.
