Canada: A wildfire has started in Alberta after a pipeline caught fire between Hinton and Edson. Air tankers and heavy equipment have been called to suppress the fire. Initial size up said the fire was pushing 30 acres. #wildfire #firefighters
@HotshotWake @TheKevinDalton Them Canadians are at it again, eh.
@HotshotWake This is very common with all tar pipelines, because the pipelines have to be heated, and sometimes they overheat and burst into flames.
@HotshotWake Wow, my neck of the woods. It is snowing here, and no smell of smoke, or chemicals. Hopefully they put it out. I can't imagine a wild fire would burn for long in snow, unless the snow missed that area and is just landing on Grande Cache. Ecoterrorism for sure.
@HotshotWake Wow!!! That's an incredible photo!
@HotshotWake So NGO’s funded by governments have started arson season early this year.
@HotshotWake Of course. It's almost spring. We need more fires to get that air pollution up so we can blame the climate
@HotshotWake Do pipelines spontaneously combust? Spill perhaps, but catch on fire? I smell sabotage and arson.
