I really liked Martin Lewis’s #BlackFriday memo the other day: "If you were going to buy it anyway and it's half price, you've saved 50%. If you weren't going to buy it, but do because it's half price you've wasted 100%" Maybe consider celebrating #BuyNothingDay instead?

With #WorldCup2022 starting in Qatar today it seems kind of appropriate that its also #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance today, when we think of all those killed by anti-transgender prejudice and hatred. On this day vigils are held around the country so you can find one local to you.
