I don't know how I should feel about the fact that I'm a skilled immigrant of extraordinary ability, who isn't allowed to decide his own fate. So, in the coming few weeks, people who can vote in the US will decide whether I & people like me are welcome in this country or not.🤞🏾

Just a sporadic reminder that plagiarism rarely involves a mustachio-twirling supervillain cackling at the prospect of pulling one over on you. 13 years of teaching writing, and I've only had one, maybe 2, supervillains, tops. Most are just scrambling students who need a hand.
