@IRLoadingScreen Conveniently leaves out that killing the children is how you gain literal superpowers.
@IRLoadingScreen The only game that truly understood lolbertarians.
@IRLoadingScreen Problem was that the whole moral dilemma thing fell apart when rescuing little sisters was a far better option in the long run because of the gifts you got Only time you'd harvest them was to actively go for the bad ending
@IRLoadingScreen The issue with Bioshock’s morality system is that saving the Little Sisters was objectively better in every way, because while you may get less Adam initially, the gifts you receive from them more than compensate with bonus Adam and other supplies Still a fantastic game tho
@IRLoadingScreen If those kids didn't wanna be vaporized then they should be full of delicious delicious Adam. Walking around like spooky fruit gushers. Get zapped cus your boy here is about to learn to cast BEES
@IRLoadingScreen We had a period of about ten years where every game was like "do you want to be comically over-the-top evil or the goodest good boy ever?" and I put the blame squarely on Fable.
@IRLoadingScreen What's more interesting is there's no "neutral" option for killing just 1 or 2 of them. Turns out that even if you only kill one child and save the other six, YOU'VE STILL MURDERED A CHILD.
@IRLoadingScreen Prey (2017) is probably the only game I’ve ever played with an actually nuanced and thoughtful moral choice system.
@IRLoadingScreen I mean, leftists kill close to 1,000,000 kids a year in the USA. So it must be a grey area for them, at least.
@IRLoadingScreen (also not killing children gives you much more rewards in the long run)
@IRLoadingScreen Well on the one hand, killing the children gets you more Superpower juice. On the other hand, sparing them gives you even MORE Superpower juice than killing them does because of the gifts you get from What's-her-face. So it really is an impossibly difficult choice
@IRLoadingScreen They really shouldn’t have made the gifts so good because the whole point of killing them was supposed to be “you get more Adam but if you spare them you’re less powerful and will have a harder time” and then this bigass gift makes none of that relevant
@IRLoadingScreen No because they put the monster voice and monster eyes on the girls at the last minute in development, totally pussying out and making it pointless
@IRLoadingScreen I never understood why they were allowed to do this but gta wasn't
@IRLoadingScreen little sisters are khamas
@IRLoadingScreen You also get bonus items for not killing children in a game where resources are scarce, so I think it’s pretty obvious that they want you to kill the children.
@IRLoadingScreen I mean... is it really the "bad" ending? Also, the choice isnt whether or not to kill the little sisters, its would you kill a genetic abomination that looks like a child in exchange for a massive personal power boost or not, which makes it much easier
@IRLoadingScreen I mean, it's a very jewish game, I can see why they would see this as a difficult decision.
@IRLoadingScreen Reading these comments is wild, was I really the only one who just figured immediately the first time I played that saving the kids would lead to rewards? Because of course it would. That's always how it works. I only killed them on a second playthrough for the achievements
@IRLoadingScreen You shouldve got no adam for saving them and the more you spliced the more grotesque you looked so there would 2 playthroughs evil magic playthrough and moral good john rambo playthrough
@IRLoadingScreen "But you get rewards for killing children!" "And if I dont?" "You get slightly less items and its still enough to play the game" "Wow. Genious"
@IRLoadingScreen Wait you didnt have to kill the kids?
@IRLoadingScreen It was ground breaking for Console Players at the time youtu.be/m_y4Ao5L6G8?si…
@IRLoadingScreen Andrew Ryan asks a simple question: Are you a MAN or are you a SLAVE?
@IRLoadingScreen I do find it funny though, that what was considered groundbreaking back then equates to a binary "Save the kids from the burning orphanage and volunteer in soup kitchens?" Or "Throw a bucket of puppies into the flames, and collect the sweet insurance money (also evade taxes)?"
@IRLoadingScreen (And you get better rewards for sparing the children.)
@IRLoadingScreen They say in Israel they only get the bad ending
@IRLoadingScreen What's a "gray moral" about killing a child or not lol...seems pretty cut and dry to me. Don't get me wrong, Bioshock was a fun game and the choice is cool, but I wouldn't call it a gray morality thing when you straight up have the cure to the mind control parasite.
@IRLoadingScreen Considering the game is jewish, I’m surprised it doesn’t give the good ending.
@IRLoadingScreen Killing little girls, even if they’re mutants, is mean and I don’t want to hurt my feelings. :(
@IRLoadingScreen The reason it's a good decision is because of the effect on gameplay, be a good moral person but be behind on upgrades, or be a shithead but you get to play around with the plasmids more.
@IRLoadingScreen I hated how all their models were the same
@IRLoadingScreen But consider this: if you kill the child, you get a reward! But if you dont kill the child...(chuckling ominously) you get a different, better reward
@IRLoadingScreen It unironically would’ve been better if you actually didn’t get rewarded as much. They tell you initially in the game that this is the case but after you spare a few they leave you presents full of Adam that equates to basically the same amount you would have got by killing them
