As per Al Mirsaad, Sharifullah is not really the mastermind of Abbey Gate bombing as claimed by Trump administration. - Sharifullah's Background and Role in ISKP: Sharifullah was captured by Ashraf Ghani regime in 2019 following an ISKP attack, and later escaped prison in 2021 during prison break chaos following U.S forces' withdrawal. Before and after his arrest, he primarily served as a low-ranking member of ISKP, primarily tasked with monitoring & surveillance for ISKP. However, after significant raids carried out in 2022 & 2023 by General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), which mainly targeted top leadership of ISKP, Sharifullah was promoted to a higher rank.
