Sorry Catholics, it's a Christian realism. We don't need go betweens✝️🙏🏼
Yep - As a Christian - I'd rather talk to Jesus directly and let him be my intercessor - Somehow I don't feel the need to tell a flawed man who is also a sinner my sins so he can relay my prayer to God - If you feel the need that's your choice. That's what I believe - Directness is better than having any other intermediary other than Jesus. That's why we say "in Jesus name" after every prayer.
😂🤣😂. It's funny because it's true! Religion is something that Satan introduced into the church a long time ago. Through prophetic word, God is stating He's going to move within the Catholic Church and others. He is also calling us all to unify. We are about to see Numbers 14:21 fulfilled. Watch what God does!
@Ikennect Here we go! Just as you might ask a friend or family member to pray for you, Catholics ask the saints to pray for them, too. Catholics view the saints as prayer partners who can offer powerful intercession with God because of their closeness to Him.
I am Catholic convert. Researched many Christian sects before chosing. Learned the catechism as an adult. I was never told not to bother Jesus. Our most holy prayer is direct to God the Father. Even in the Rosary, a prayer dedicated to Mary, Jesus is invoked. This post is just your normal Catholic bashing. Humans can't help being human.
@Ikennect @Indigolizzy1 People bashing Catholics are stupid. Just live your life and praise the Lord. The hell is wrong with people?
@Ikennect If a comedianne is your source of official Catholic doctrine, that clown car you're driving is too crowded.
@Ikennect I am a Catholic—I have a personal relationship with God. To suggest otherwise is ludicrous.
And the Bible is clear about praying to anyone else besides God the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit. The first two of the 10 commandments should show us how serious God is about us putting anyone or anything above Him in our lives. I would say that covers bowing and praying to anyone or anything other than Him.
@Ikennect AMEN. SPEAK TO JESUS...NOT A LIST OF PEOPLE WHO TELL YOU NOT TO BOTHER JESUS. HE KNOWS WHAT YOU WILL SAY BEFORE YOU SAY IT. DOES MARY???
@Ikennect I am now baptized and Baptist, however I was catholic, did catechism and everything. It is definitely a deeper more personal relationship now.
@Ikennect I like the joke Dr Vernon McGee told. They were new in heaven getting the tour and suddenly the tour guide said, "shhh, this door is to the Baptists, they think they are the only ones here". Believe and you will be saved from the penalty for sin. It's all about Jesus.
@Ikennect I hate these reaction videos, she is eating, how entertaining.
@Ikennect I talk to God all the time. I don’t know who lied to you but there’s no middle man.
@Ikennect Accurate. Jesus never told anybody to Pray his mother. And that’s false doctrine.
Just to be clear.... I am not condemning anyone as I know a pointing finger has 3 more pointing back on someone's hand but .... Christianity is a false religion. Yahusha Ha'Mashiah and the Apostles wouldn't have had anything to do with the Roman Emperor, Constantine's, "church." Are you kidding me? Adopting Pagan celebrations? Changing the Sabbath? Forbidding celebration of the festivals that Yahusha himself celebrated? Obliterated the name of the Father, Yahuah, and Yahusha from scriptures? Try calling your spouse by the name of one of your old flames and see how harmless that is. No, Christianity is a false religion of a Roman emperor and not anything like The Way. Christian was even a derogatory term, so.... get out of Mystery Babylon folks. It took me almost 60 years so you have hope as well. 🙏🏻<*{{{>< ~~~
@Ikennect It’s all team JC as far as I’m concerned, and we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Thanks for the video, very funny. :D
This is an explanation as to why Christians are not Catholic. I see a lot of people saying that Christians never have an answer for that, but I say, you've never examined that question with a Christian if that is your conclusion. As devout Christians, our faith is anchored in the truth of Scripture as the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and our beliefs are shaped by its clear teachings. We reject Catholic Legalist beliefs and the practice of praying to saints or anyone other than Christ because these practices deviate from biblical truth and undermine the sufficiency of Christ’s work and His exclusive role as our mediator. So here is a short but detailed explanation of why we hold these convictions, grounded in Scripture and the core principles of the Christian faith. First of all, why we are not Catholic Legalists..... Catholic Legalism, as understood in it's own doctrine, refers to a system of belief within certain strands of Catholicism that emphasizes adherence to a complex set of rules, rituals, and works as necessary for salvation, often elevating human traditions and ecclesiastical authority to a level that rivals or overshadows Scripture. As devout Christians, we reject this for the following reasons... Salvation by Grace Through Faith Alone!! Scripture teaches that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through human effort or adherence to legalistic requirements. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Catholic Legalism, in contrast, often emphasizes works—such as participation in sacraments, penance, or adherence to church laws—as necessary for salvation, which risks undermining the sufficiency of Christ’s atoning work on the cross. We believe that Christ’s sacrifice was complete and sufficient (Hebrews 10: 10-14), and no additional works are required to earn God’s favor. The Authority of Scripture Over Tradition!!!!! As Christians, we hold that the Bible is the sole, ultimate authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3: 16-17). While Catholic Legalism often elevates church tradition, papal decrees, and councils to an equal or superior level of authority, we reject this as unbiblical. Because these rituals were added for ceremony and spectacle, not for biblical purposes. Jesus Himself condemned the Pharisees for prioritizing human traditions over God’s Word (Mark 7:8-13), and we see a parallel in any system that places man-made rules on par with Scripture. The Bereans were commended for testing all teachings against Scripture (Acts 17: 11), and we follow their example by subjecting all doctrines to the same standard. The Priesthood of All Believers Catholic Legalism often upholds a hierarchical system where priests and church authorities act as intermediaries between God and believers, administering sacraments and mediating forgiveness. Scripture, however, teaches that all believers are in relationship and have direct access to God through Christ (1 Peter 2:9; Hebrews 4: 14-16). Jesus’ death tore the temple veil (Matthew 27: 51), symbolizing that we no longer need human mediators to approach God. Requiring believers to go through priests or perform specific rituals for forgiveness contradicts the freedom and access we have in Christ. "No man shall come to the father but through me" Rejection of Meritorious Works Catholic Legalism often teaches that certain acts, such as indulgences, pilgrimages, or specific prayers, can earn merit or reduce time in purgatory. This contradicts the biblical truth that our righteousness comes from Christ alone (Philippians 3:9). Isaiah 64:6 declares that all our righteous deeds are like “filthy rags” apart from God’s grace. We reject any system that suggests human effort can contribute to salvation or divine favor, as this diminishes the glory of Christ’s finished work.
@Ikennect I follow them on Facebook, they are absolutely hilarious!
@Ikennect Catholicism: great statues, but I’m all about that direct line to the Big Guy upstairs!
