I was writing some music, and it wasn’t sounding amazing, but I know that’s just how it goes sometimes so I decided to just “trust the process” and add all the finishing touches. …several hours later, I can now say that the process failed me.

Overall, INSEE says that France had 53,900 excess deaths in 2020 – ie 9% up on the 2018-9 average. The official French Covid death toll at 2pm on 1 Jan was 64,765. In other words, "excess mortality" was LESS than the official Covid death toll. 4/6
