I really appreciate how @JoshPateCFB has shown that pollsters have been heavily influenced by power ratings when they make their RANKINGS votes for things like the AP Poll and yes, the Coaches Poll as well. Keep them separate and we're good.

These have to be some of the most loyal fans in all of CFB. So many disappointing seasons that didnt go the way of the preseason hype yet every year, there they are. ESPN notices too, they have to. They loved to showcase games there when teams like Clemson come to town.

The news about the portal window is big of course but for me, this post of Ross's means more. This tells me that they are still rebuilding after the governance vote. Bigger things wont happen till that is done. That being said, October 1st is now a date to watch.
