🚨 ISRO chairman S Somanath has withdrawn publishing his autobiography and says, "The purpose of the book is inspiring young people. Since some comments and interpretations came, I am not going to publish it now ''.
@IndianTechGuide Hate comments are everywhere. Should publish it
@IndianTechGuide Sometimes failures are the best example to inspire, so they inspire more and push success hard. Success also get value post failure only.
ISRO Chairman S Somanath on Saturday said he was withdrawing from the publishing of his upcoming autobiography, 'Nilavu Kudicha Simhangal' (loosely translated as - Lions that drank the moonlight), in the light of the controversy. Somanath was responding to a report that claimed his autobiography had some critical remarks about his predecessor Sivan.
He admitted that he mentioned in his book the lack of clarity in connection with the announcement of the failure of the Chandrayaan-2 mission. The ISRO Chairman reiterated that his autobiography was an attempt to inspire people who wish to achieve by fighting challenges and obstacles in life and not criticise anyone
@IndianTechGuide Learning from experts like Somnath sir's journey would have been helpful. Saddened to hear he won't be sharing his observations.
@IndianTechGuide BTW What was that "some comments and interpretations" and from where it came.
@IndianTechGuide Truly commendable! Inspirational journeys are worth celebrating
@IndianTechGuide That’s why it is a good idea to publish after retirement.
@IndianTechGuide Very sad to hear if this is right. Scientists are backbone to the Nations development
@IndianTechGuide Those who comment will always be there sir. You should publish it. Even if one child gets inspired who knows we may find another Kalam. Sad to see heroes like you are giving up because of street chatter. India stands by you
@IndianTechGuide People like Abdul Kalam and Atal Bihari Bajpeyi get their biography published. People like supreme leader get their autobiography published.
@IndianTechGuide Abhi toh Rajya sabha seat bhi lena hai Sitharaman ke bhai ko
@IndianTechGuide Not publishing means it either effects you or it’s true
@IndianTechGuide Here’s what he said exactly.. x.com/this_is_tckb/s…
@IndianTechGuide maybe due to pressure from peers and gov he says about some internal conflits between him and the former chairman he is also very much critical about chandrayan 2 and the marketing given to it by the gov and org
@IndianTechGuide Sir, please publish, it will be learning for future generations
