God grant that we should be more afraid of sin than of than of its exposure. Sin hidden or buried within a God-ordained structure (such as a marriage or church) is hardly success.

Agree and comes out in later life when Women who had this teaching or overprotect parents who were good Christians. Battle to REGAIN intimacy. Bless jessie

We must learn the responses that are helpful and resilience building AND avoid additional overwhelming for traumatized people who live daily in crushing circumstances. Those living with trauma are, in fact, the only ones who can tell us what is helpful and what is not.
