Do you know where "pasta asciutta" comes from? It was invented as a timballo (timbale) in the late Middle Ages. Cooked pasta, filled, stuffed, and then baked: an elaborate dish, designed to impress at the table. Spaghetti and sauce as we know them today, arrived much later. 🍝
Pasta is a delicious and sustainable food as it has got a low environmental impact: 20% reduction in water usage, a 95% recovery rate of garbage, and a 21% reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
