Ever agreed to something but put such over the top caveats on it you assume you’ll never have to follow through, then they say yes anyway and it’s just kind of embarrassing for all parties? Hate that. On an unrelated note, great to have Tasmania as the 19th team in the AFL.

Our official stance is that it is correct and good umpiring to change the way dissent is adjudicated between individual umpires and within a single game based on the umpire’s mood. That should deal with any concerns about bias or special treatment.
