Final things that brought it together were: - Watch + chain in pocket. - Lapel Pin (to match Past Ima's chest emblem) - Hourglass hairpins - Ribbing on turtleneck for texture - Changing the bag to be rectangular - Eye bags; no sleep!! I do think I should make them more prominent

One of the last decisions I agonised over was the length of Future Ima's coat AND pants. Slightly shorter pants would show off the high-tops, but in the end, it was a little too silly for them. Could not risk the aura loss :) Also, landed on blue for the jacket's inside!

Last few ideas for the fully formal look. The last one was a favourite for long time! And you may have noticed in the previous image, shoes-reveal!! I wanted both of them to wear comfy, practical shoes, especially since they're travelling a lot. Colour scheme didn't take long.

At this point, I felt they looked too much like a student; a coat helped age them up, and hey who doesn't like long coats :))) There were epaulets at one point, but I did get rid of them eventually, and keep them on Past Ima. I do still like the white buttons, tbh.

Around here, I ditched the belt for a fitted pants look. Then went through a waistcoat phase! I really do like the look of it, especially with the jacket chain. But it was a bit too formal, again. Also got very extra with the vest design, just for fun. And motivation :)

To better contrast with Past Ima, I wanted Future Ima's design to be very minimalist. But there's a line between that, and boring :'D So I looked at ways of injecting some colour. I also tried a darker turtleneck, but it was a bit too edgy for them; maybe on a rainy day.

As seen above, Future Ima initially had a blazer; I knew that I wanted more formal attire, but not 100%. I landed on the turtleneck pretty quickly. You'll note the hourglass pins were crosses initially :> Side note: A fun part of all of this was researching suits/tailoring!

Most of the agonising was around the jacket. The bag was very important, But the strap blending into the shirt didn't please me. I tried some weird solutions to get around it, but eventually settled, with great pain, on simply closing the jacket.
