Friend: Want to hang out tomorrow? Me: I already performed an activity yesterday. Please wait the three day recovery period to submit another inquiry.
@IntrovertProbss For an introvert, the three day recovery period is also known as "days off" and an activity can be anything including going to the mailbox.
@IntrovertProbss For introverts, "me time" is a must. They crave solitude to recharge their spirits and manage all the chaos in their minds in silence.
@IntrovertProbss LOL - just went to Costco. Not scheduling another 'people thing' till next week. 🙃
@IntrovertProbss What is this 'friend' of which you speak?? Haven't got any of those, and not sure what to do with one if I did!
@IntrovertProbss I so wish this weren't true. I met with a lovely group of gardeners ever for an early evening get together last night. Between that and socializing on the bus, I just want to rest today. I'll try to figure out why my truck isn't starting, to feel productive and less guilty.
@IntrovertProbss Yup last weekend I was enrolled in an activity. So this weekend I refuse to be on any activity. I have lost my precious weekend. Never again!!!
@IntrovertProbss Me, when i became chronically ill 😭
@IntrovertProbss 3 days? Impossible. My introvert bride…minimum 6-7 business days before contact is permitted, much less actual contact. Please respect her space. 😄
@IntrovertProbss I already performed 3 weeks without a day off, making commissioned artwork in my studio, on my feet all day, & in that time also had family 10 peeps to dinner twice & a studio visit by client. I don't need to 'rest' 3 days, I'm not lazy or soft. I just don't need too much input!
