2 hours/day of AI school kids score top 1-2% nationally traditional schools are done
@IterIntellectus Have a thought that we’ll see an overall rise in kids excelling and this will expose that the ones who struggle can actually do well. Kids who struggled with traditional pacing and rigid structure are most likely being given the unlock they always needed to thrive.
@IterIntellectus public school makes you dumber & less informed. especially if you're in a bad district. this will make it easier for smarts kids to stand out, easier for slower kids to catch up & give kids most of their day back to the physical world which rocks

This is double edge sword. On positive side, we tune education to help kids learn faster based on their individual understanding and pace. No amount of 1-to-many classroom setup could do that. On negative side, we are conditioning kids to rely on AI to solve problems. Instead of thinking through, the kid goes to AI for an answer or explanation. this can hinder critical thinking ability and raise a generation of "prooomters" rather than innovators.
@IterIntellectus This is exciting, but any strong conclusions require strict controls for selection bias. For example, it’s entirely possible these kids are heavily selected and would have scored top 1–2% nationally anyway. The real test is taking median kids and boosting them to similar levels.

@IterIntellectus Thanks for sharing our school!
@IterIntellectus There might be a bit of a selection bias here. Not your average parent would put their kid in an AI school…

@IterIntellectus @twobitidiot How about universities? Other than the residency portion in medical study, every college degree can be obtained via self-study. One needs to be an idiot to pay tuition for law, accounting, language, economy, and education degrees.
@IterIntellectus I’d like to see evidence of this working at a larger scale. I’m not sure if this isn’t just selecting elite students more than it is the actual program.
