@JGGolfFitness He has continued to win consistently for the past 10 years yet no majors have come with it. At his level majors is all that matters. Incredible player but definitely under achieved

@JGGolfFitness Just crazy how he won so quickly and was so dominant. Then can’t seem to get over the hump major wise. But it’s crazy Vijay only has 3, and Ernie only has 4.
@JGGolfFitness I know everyone will pick brooks career with 5 majors over Rory. But Rory won players, bay hill, wentworth, quail hollow 3x, wgc 2x, national open 7x…..I do think it’s quite impressive.

@JGGolfFitness Tough isnt it. 10 years of chances and 40 misses become 41 then 42 etc. Hard not to think about that. Think if he continues working with Butch it will definitely help him. Easy to say play free but it never works like that!
Rory hitting a full wedge last summer, an area of his game he’s working hard on upgrading. “We need to bring down that ball flight,” Butch says he told him during their visit. “To do that we need to chop off that follow through.”
@JGGolfFitness I think a big part of Rory’s early success came from the fact that he was kind of the first modern player that blasted driver. I think now that everyone has caught up and his advantage with the driver is gone, he’s come back to the field
@JGGolfFitness Rory should be a double digits major champion with the game he has but a few weaknesses show up at big events. At 34 he has 10 years at least at the top but if he doesn’t pick another one off in the next 2 years the mental barrier to get back on track maybe too much to overcome.
@JGGolfFitness Think he has time to fix it in the majors. Somehow just needs to think about them less and just play the course in front of him- easier said than done. His consistency over the last 15 years been hugely impressive but he does need at least one more major imo
@JGGolfFitness If his career ended now I think he would go down as one of the biggest under achievers in history. Which is crazy given his resume. He should be challenging tigers major record
@JGGolfFitness @rossmacleodputt Especially after the '07 (?) US open win at Torrey, it was very widely discussed that a divorce or injuries could get in the way of that. I don't think many had both on their bingo card, but it was never taken as a given
Only the 2nd round of the year yesterday. But it was good to see some of the speed training making its way out to the course. One of the better drives from the round
