This online safety bill is nuts. We're really going to block people accessing political content (example: reddit.com/r/samharris/co…) as a default? I don't even think such posts will appear in your feed either so most won't even know they've been censored. Insane. #OnlineSafetyAct

I've been doing a ton of coding with AI this week. It feels like we're at a bit of a sweet spot right now. It saves a ton of leg work but certainly needs an experienced pair of hands to do anything non-trivial. Hoping it stays that way for some time, but i guess we'll find out!

Finding this to be a win-win: finish a new feature, then spend time sharing it before moving on. It's easier to stay motivated with smaller milestones and I'm also gaining waitlist subscribers as I go.

Highly recommend Laravel & Inertia if you're looking to build quick. Got the following done in the course of a few hours today: - Modelling/db (with support for ltree type queries) - Endpoints w/ validation for storing changes - Added a basic UI and hooked it all up - Tests

Weekend progress on Listable: - Added support for subdomains & updating routing - Added support for tags - Added a detail page for each item - Hooked up the first of the filters Pretty happy with that! Categories are up next.

Pretty frustrating when you've got something in mind for the afternoon and bump into a ton of bugs instead 😑. Made a bit of progress with inline editing in the end, so not a total disaster.

Pattern matching RFC in #PHP is ridiculously good 😊. It brings so many new syntaxes that most probably will be painful for tokenizer-based tools, but it will make development so much easier 🤩. Thanks @Crell and @IlijaTovilo for your work 🍻! wiki.php.net/rfc/pattern-ma…
