I treated myself to two print subscriptions this year (@WritersDigest and @PublishersWkly). Digital reading is helpful and handy in a dozen ways, but nothing beats the dopamine rush of opening the mailbox and discovering a new issue has arrived.

Today in Things I Look Up While Editing My Manuscript, I decided to check if "hula hoop" is a trademarked name. Turns out it is, and the correct spelling is Hula-Hoop.
