Time to share a sale... DOMAIN SOLD! 🥳🎉 Sale price: $1,995 Purchase price: $7 Date sold: 2 hours ago Hold time: 1 month +- Lander views (april): 45 (Lets start to share views number) Case study: "Twin Brother Domain" 🍎🍏 I hand-registered two #domains at the same moment. Both are almost identical, differing by only one letter, and both appear suitable as company names. Let's refer to them as "domainA" and "domainB." At that moment, I knew domainA was better. However, in case the buyer didn't pay for it, I anticipated they would check if domainB was available. That's why I registered both to secure my sale. By mistake, I didn't set a fixed price on the Dan lander, only a "make offer" option. Surprisingly, this mistake turned out to be helpful. A few weeks passed, and I received an offer of $1,000 for domainA. I noticed the offer immediately but ignored it to gauge the buyer's interest in the #domain. The next day, the buyer inquired, "Any update on my offer?" (strong desire!). I declined the offer without a counter, and in other words i told him "this domain is not for you, want something else?" A few hours later, the buyer responded with, "Hello, send me your offer," (even stronger desire and impatience!). I responded with some more bla-bla-bla, avoiding specifying a price. Eventually, the buyer disappeared. The next day, I countered with a high price of $7,000, but received no reply. Suspecting the buyer might be arranging funds for me or exploring alternatives, I anticipated he would try domainB next. So, I priced domainB lower at $2,000, expecting it to be perceived as a great deal compared to its twin brother listed at $7,000. I gave him four days of silence before following up, but received no response. Then, three days later (today), the magic happened—the buyer eventually purchased domainB! Between us, I was prepared to offer domainA for $2,000 as a last option. Now, I sold the brother who has one eye for the price of brother with two eyes. Now, I can sell domainA at a higher price or list it for $2,000 too. Perhaps once the buyer sees it, he will say, "Mother fu**er!" and purchase it as well 😂 My advice: Have always options for your buyers, Where regardless of what they choose both options are a win for you, let them think they are "choosing", they dont want to feel that you sold them something, they want to feel they are smarter than you and managed to pay less for the same. A deal is good when both parts feel they are winning. #domainsold #domaining #afternic
@JackDomainer I tried this stunt as well and ignored the initial offer ( Not on purpose but because I was travelling ) One of my Crypto related domains received an offer of $1,98,000 on 19 Feb ,I didn’t respond till 23 Feb Result: The buyer disappeared OR may have found something else : (
@JackDomainer Jack... 1. Stop using MAKE OFFER. ( MAKE OFFER = desperate = you lose.) 2. You Delist domain B. 3.Once you give a PRICE on domain A you don't SPEAK/FOLLOW UP (1st to speak loses) 4. Close A, and pitch B after you close A;or sweeten the deal with B to close A(stay firm)
