A straphanger was shoved onto the subway tracks in the West 4th station in the West Village by the same man he moments earlier helped climb off the roadbed. The altercation kicked off around 4:45 p.m. when the suspect bumped into his victim, igniting a verbal altercation that quickly escalated to violence. The 34-year-old suspect “fell” onto the Southbound A-train tracks during the brawl. The victim — also 34 — helped the man back onto the platform, but was rewarded with a punch to the face and a push that put him on the roadbed where his assailant had landed moments earlier. Fortunately, no trains pulled into the station before a bystander could help the second man to safety. Charges were still pending Saturday, but law enforcement sources said the suspect had 21 priors to his name — including robbery and assaulting an EMT. nypost.com/2024/04/13/us-…
@CrimeInNYC In a state and with a rational justice system, a perp with 21 priors who committed attempted murder would be sent away for a long time. 15+ years under NY statutes, but not under Alvin Bragg @ManhattanDA (D-NY), @KathyHochul (D-NY), @CarlHeastie (D-NY), @AndreaSCousins (D-NY)
@JamesEHiggins @CrimeInNYC @ManhattanDA @KathyHochul @CarlHeastie @AndreaSCousins Alvin Bragg should offer this criminal a job in the DA’s office.
@JamesEHiggins @ManhattanDA @KathyHochul @CarlHeastie @AndreaSCousins Dems are using violent offenders to perpetrate hate crimes against us. Make no mistake, this is all be design.
@JamesEHiggins @CrimeInNYC @ManhattanDA @KathyHochul @CarlHeastie @AndreaSCousins Alvin 'Tool' Bragg is a national disgrace, though he thinks he is a national hero.
@JamesEHiggins @CrimeInNYC @ManhattanDA @KathyHochul @CarlHeastie @AndreaSCousins They all need to be removed! They are turning me into a republican!
