Early this week, the office of the President of Tajikistan began giving out free copies of Firdawsi’s #Shahnama (the Book of Kings) to each family in Tajikistan. It is a good move, considering that Shahnama, other than being a classical Persian text, is a great book on ethics, philosophy and wisdom.
