I don’t know about how the Epstein thing but… I’ve seen some of those other things (especially the poor treatment of female founders) and generally agree there is a not-insignificant portion of VCs that wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near LP $ at any credible financial institution

Also, man, almost nobody talks about it but the similarities between the music world and the startup world are MASSIVE. Artists and founders are the same. And the ones who do it out of passion will always beat the ones who do it for the fame.
This makes me happy. It’s like the #1 thing I pitch to early founders re: strategy. Subscriptions are just too imposing of a gate for startups trying to demonstrate value to users. Plus, great data on how your customers are using the product! Value aligned for everyone.
