Eze. You already see so clearly what his holdup play and playmaking skills can do for our left. That small dribble and ball into Odegaard felt like a new world. That 22-23 stuff. Move it smart, quickly. Then even the lighter guys like Ode find spaces no issue.

For me budget wise you always need the big money for attackers. With Holland we had so many mediocre defenders, but we had Robben + a defensive system. Defending is always a team game. Creativity you will struggle to replicate as a team. You need that individual class.

Dont care about results. We need to be braver as a collective, bc this team doesnt have the individual quality upfront to win enough games being controlled and safe like today. Sometimes you concede. That shouldnt matter. Thats is our challenge. We have LOTS of potential!

The league is also a fitness battle and that we are up for. Wirtz will struggle with that. Liverpools squad is a bit thinner surely. But I feel Slot will always push and gamble for goals. We really need to be more direct and brave to turn 14 draws in to 9 wins...
