Pastors, remember that tomorrow when you get up to preach, most of the people sitting there are struggling. They are exhausted, lonely, and sad. They’re wondering if there is hope, if God loves them and if He hears them.

I keep hearing stories this week, and I'm so deeply joyful. Stories of people who are having dreams about how Jesus is kind and beautiful. Stories of people being drawn to Jesus. I used to only hear these stories in others countries...now I am hearing them here. #revival

We got to see @lesmisofficial in SF last week. My daughter said that the story mimics our lives - how both main characters are convinced they are acting morally upright - Politics, denominations, universities, churches. What a incredible insight. Best show on earth.

After teaching 100’s of sermons, listening to 1000’s, and being part of the church for over 50 yrs, I’m more convinced that the only force that will really bring life change is resting in the unconditional love of God. If we could just know and believe how loved we are.

Hebrews 2:3 “how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?” I would not be able to escape the temptation to try to live life on my own without the grace that God has provided. I’m thankful I don’t have to.
