As of today (08/14/25), the #lithium carbonate price (in $) jumped to 11,402.35 a ton, the highest since July 22, 2024, marking the 6th consecutive day of rising prices in the Chinese spot market. Are we in front of a new type of bottom? One resulting from non-fundamental forces?
All #lithium chemical and ore prices increased today in the Chinese spot market. The b-g Li2CO3 price hit $11,250.78, the highest since August 01, 2024. This is just the start. The best is yet to come as new demand shocks take hold and strengthen.
There was a slight rebound in the price of #lithium carbonate (in dollars) today in the Chinese spot market. Also, by midday, all futures prices were rising by an average of 4.4%. I told you these crazy things were going to happen.
