A lot of politicians are trying to convince the public right now that private companies will help the NHS. Think about every other public service that has been turned into a profit machine for private companies. Have the public benefitted? No. The shareholders have.🚨🚨🚨
@JujuliaGrace We will be just like the US soon where people beg not to call an ambulance because they can’t afford the $500 ride to the hospital let alone the hospital bill
@JujuliaGrace All the pharmaceutical companies are private They help......
@JujuliaGrace Short-term gain with long-term pain - in the short-term it makes the Government look good, be it Tory or Labour. But as with Gas, Electricity, Water, Rail, Housing, Social Care, the long-term brings higher prices & other problems with quality of service. Thatcherism costs more!
@JujuliaGrace You are right. Politicians are wrong. Truth will win. It's a long fight. A fight worth winning. Keep up the pressure.
@JujuliaGrace Privatisation of the NHS is the most scary thing that could ever happen to this country. The millions of people who would suffer because of ability to pay doesn’t bear thinking about
@JujuliaGrace The public sector failed to operate services (full-blown socialism) & failed to procure value for money private services (off balance sheet socialism - do BUPA, Aviva, AXA, Vitality let their procurement teams fail?). Replace NHS Beveridge model with Bismarck model that works.
@JujuliaGrace NHS cost: 1. 11.3% GDP 2. £3,500 a year each 3. 2m staff Result: 1. 53,000 excess deaths 2. £128bn clinical negligence 3. 7.6m waiting list The NHS was broken by design in 1948 and has failed in practice for the money for 76 years since. Replace. Not Reform.
@JujuliaGrace @mattyfeb1987 Hell NO ! Leave the NHS alone !
