On this day in 1916, Ferruccio Lamborghini was born in small town Renazzo, to grape farmer parents. Drafted into the Italian Royal Air Force during WWII, Lamborghini was held prisoner by the British. He returned home in 1947, and founded Lamborghini Trattori one year later.
