Can we stop expecting partners to give full time care when they also work please? I got asked why my partner can't help me, he's tired too, he doesn't get a break, I'm ill every day that's hard on both of us Social care needs real reform especially for young people

I recently did a managing emotions course... It did not go well and had ableist undertones in 4 of the 8 hours of course time. We seriously need better healthcare and resources for people who can't "get better" and are forced to rely on other people

Reminder disabled people have no obligation to consume assisted dying media. You don’t have to read tweets about how someone would kill themselves if they were like you. You have no duty to be polite when they say we cost too much. Your mental health matters. Your life does too.

Apparently diagnosis letters and being a wheelchair user on PIP isn't enough to get a bus pass anymore? They won't accept my PIP letter because it's an extension. Why am I responsible for all this admin as the disabled person?

Why is there no support for people who can manage pain independently but can't cope with the other things going on in life like admin tasks to get appointments and urgent symptoms addressed?I'm not a beginner to chronic pain or illness,I need advanced info not a Google search

#pip vouchers would never work Regular payments give them independence to spend it on what they need Vouchers will lead to more poverty Just looked at my budget/spending I’d be in debt without it Who decides what they’re used for? Disability is unique Vouchers will be useless

Why do different areas bus drivers in the UK expect you to know all their rules and procedures? I haven't been on a London bus for years and he didn't notice I was trying to get off for 2 stops, I used the regular button as I couldn't see the blue one from where my wheelchair was

Most chronically ill people refuse to go to the hospital because we know that we’ll be sitting in the ER feeling the exact same as we could be feeling at home in bed. The ER helps us less than you think they do.
