@Suhail Bias towards action (morphing the world to your model for it) appeases anxiety. Bias towards perception (knowledge acquisition to refine one's world model) appeases curiosity. Cycling through periods with each bias is key to a good life.

When creating software for doctors, output that looks good to a non-doctor can easily be useless to a doctor. It's difficult and time consuming to distill down a decade of medical training to explain what's wrong. Find a way to incentivize doctors to try hard to help.

I’m at the user journey optimization phase of my first real software product and it’s so much fun. I get to be critical of everything I encounter without walking on eggshells. Then I bark orders at an LLM. And the product just keeps getting better.

I once saw a surgeon buy dinner for the ED staff. Someone made a comment about how he’s rich so it’s not a big deal for him. He told the crowd how much he makes for an appendectomy. People started laughing at him. Like in a movie, pointing and laughing.

GPT 5 has limited tool support. In @augmentcode, at least. The unofficial Vercel MCP I use has 131 tools alone. LMK if you have workarounds other than turning off MCPs when I want to use GPT 5.
