Kaspersky Labs reported that a malicious software called SparkCat is exploiting application development kits (SDKs) on Google Play and Apple App Store to scan users’ images and steal crypto wallet mnemonic phrases. Using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, SparkCat precisely identifies wallet recovery phrases, private keys, and other sensitive information from images.
