As well as a disc spring, Kineteco spring starters can also use Power springs. Power Springs are the latest design and only produced by Kineteco. Power springs offer a high number of output revolutions. They are more compact being an advantage for smaller engines!

Disc Springs conically shaped steel washers which are compressed by means of a ball screw. Disc springs provide a high output torque and 3 turns of the pinion, which is sufficient to start a mechanical engine

Kineteco designs and builds special spring starters. Spring starters are normally fitted in a standard starter pocket but can be adapted to locate onto the crank shaft, directly or via a belt and pulley system. This is an example of one where 500 have been shipped.
