We are proud to announce that today Dr. Jan de Wit was awarded Cum Laude for his dissertation 'I like the way you move: Robots that gesture, and their potential as second language tutors for children' as part of @L2Tor #TiU @jmsdewit
Robots can support teachers in individual second language lessons, where gestures increase children's engagement and promote learning. They can relieve the pressure on overloaded classrooms. Jan de Wit @jmsdewit defends this research for his PhD on Jan 28. tilburguniversity.edu/current/news/m…
