Still at Grand station. Waiting for people to set up bbq's and tents. If we're going to tailgate this stop, gotta do it right.
The first day of training when you're employed by Metro is to just practice saying "we apologize for the inconvenience" over and over.
New Metro slogan: "Doesn't matter when you leave, we'll still make sure you're late."

9:31am - Arrive at LB Transit Mall. 2 hours travel time. Unacceptable, @metrolaalerts get your act together.
9:07am - Stopping to change drivers. The two seem to know each other. This is the best time to catch up with an acquaintance.
9:06am - Next train arrives to ship all us sad sacks of shit to Long Beach.
8:59am - Reach Del Amo station. Everyone forced off train so that....I have no idea why. Standing in rain.
8:27am - Announcement is given over speaker in station. Sounds important. Unfortunately it is being spoken in pure incoherent mumbling.
8:26am - Now being told trains last stop will be Del Amo station. No reason given.
8:22am - Board Blue Line train at 7th St/Metro Station for Long Beach.
7:31am - Arrive at bus stop on Sunset & Portia. 7:54am - 4 bus drives past without stopping. 7:57am - 2 bus stops. I board.
Metro Blue Line is experiencing delays due to an incident at Vernon station. Where ya at, @metrolaalerts ?
LA Metro is like international flight. Leave the house 4 hours early, cause who knows how long it'll take.
