Children in Puffin class are having lots of fun with their friends. We are learning to measure. It is so exciting learning new things.
4T are times tables champions. Using ipads, children played games testing their speed and accuracy. They really enjoyed being competitive. Well done 4T.
Today in 2H children were learning about musical notation and high and low sounds. It was so much fun. We really enjoyed playing lots of different instruments.
Children in Reception Puffin class were very busy this afternoon. We played in the sand, with legs, with tractors and cars. We had lots of fun together.
3B have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians. We learnt how to make papyrus paper. We used clue ,brown paper and water. It was lots of fun and very messy.
Class 4D are times tables experts. I was so impressed with their instant recall and accuracy.
Today in 3B, children were very busy learning how to tell the time in 5 minute intervals. It is very tricky, and we helped one another overcome misconceptions.
In Puffin class this afternoon children have been talking about space. Together we wrote a sentence about an astronaut and played with our toys.
1LW had so much fun this morning. We were learning about capacity. We used sand,water,pompoms and cubes to fill and empty containers.
1S have been very busy this afternoon. We went on a plant hunt. We sketched lots of different flowers. Look at our fabulous work!
In 2H we have been introduced to animation. We decided on our main image and slightly changed it for each picture. We decided you need to work hard to produce a finished flip book.
In 2H, we have been exploring tubes. How can we make them stronger? Is a tall thin tube stronger than a short fat tube? Does overlapping our tube make it stronger?

Today we have been learning about Easter. We decided to make Easter cards or a celebration card of our choice. We were very proud of our results.
Year 1 really have been working hard. Can you see how our pictures are developing? It takes lots of patience and concentration.
In Year 1 we are very busy doing collage pictures all about Spring. We collected our ideas and first drew our design. It was lots of fun. Then we added lots of different materials.
Here are more of our sewing results in 3A. We helped one another and really worked hard.
Children in 3A have begun to learn how to sew. It took a lot of practice and we had to preserve. We were very proud of our achievements.
Today in 2H we have been looking at underwater food chains. Children then produced their own with a partner and discussed ideas.
In 4D we have been having a discussion about what makes us happy. We also shared ideas about what we can control to achieve this.
